Key Questions to Include in a Reader Survey:

A broad range of issues and topics that can be addressed in a reader survey. For a study intended to support advertising sales, the following questions which are of particular interest to potential advertisers are typically included.
  • Industry-specific magazines read, which they read first, and which they value most.
  • Respondent's involvement in purchasing decisions.
  • Time spent reading publication, number of times it is picked up, and what is done with it after finishing.
  • Actions taken after reading ads or articles in publication.
  • Number of pass-along readers.
